Railgang HQ

The RAILGang is a small group of programmers, artists, and designers who work together to research various novel aspects of computing and computer games development.

The primary motivation for this is fun and experience, however we have high hopes of developing something useful that will make us all filthy rich.

Our main research project at the moment is RAIL (our group's namesake). RAIL is a generic "world within world" engine. As part of this we are researching; 3D graphics engines, sophisticated AI and novel GUI interfaces.

With RAIL we are exploring ways of using languages in ways they have not been used before in order to push the limit of what you can do with current technology.
